Support

The Rachel Kohl Community Library started out in a school closet and has grown exponentially over the intervening years. We continue to enrich lives and provide a safe space for our patrons to read, meet,  attend lectures and programs, and access the Internet.

The Rachel Kohl Community Library is a nonprofit, tax exempt charitable organization under Section 501 (c) (3)  of the Internal Revenue Code and is a registered Non Profit Organization in Pennsylvania. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

 

The Library’s job is never done, and we will continue to provide opportunities for our patrons to advance their knowledge, and inspire and strengthen the community. Donation of Gently Used Materials

We are happy to accept your donation of gently used materials. We accept most reading materials, except textbooks, encyclopedias, or outdated nonfiction items. We ask that you please contact us prior to bringing your donation so that we can provide further instructions.

Other Ways to Support the Library

  • Call Call your state, county, and township officials! Tell them about funding for libraries, and the importance of libraries to you and your community. You can find information on your local legislators on our Community Resources page.
  • Write Not only can you call your local elected officials, but you can write to them too! You can find information on how to contact your local legislators on our Community Resources page.  You can also write to our local media, like the Delaware County Daily Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer, to share how important libraries are to you and your community.
  • Share Tell your friends and family about the Library’s funding, and share how they can help.
